Ms. Peltz is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, with a Concentration in General Litigation and having received the Order of the Barristers award for Moot Court performance. She received her B.S. magna cum laude from Touro University, in Speech and Communications.
Ms. Peltz served at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr., and as a Legal Intern in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office’s Trial Bureau.
Prior to joining Jacob Laufer, P.C., Ms. Peltz worked overseas at the international law firm of Pearl Cohen Zedek Latzer LLP, representing start-ups in hi-tech and life sciences and at a litigation boutique firm in New York City. While at these firms, Ms. Peltz handled corporate formations, IPO’s, intellectual property licensing and contracts and complex commercial litigation matters.
Ms. Peltz volunteers on the board of a school for children with autism spectrum disorders. The school aims to enable each child to reach his/her ultimate potential.
